Through the leadership of the Holy Ghost, Pastor Jeff Duncan organized Going Home Free Will Baptist Church on Sunday, December 26, 1993. Eighteen people joined on that very first Sunday morning. Originally, the church rented an old "Family Dollar" store building for a little over a year, then began purchasing the building. Shortly thereafter, adjoining land was purchased for further growth. A building project also began for a fellowship hall; paying for it along the way.
In 2003, remodeling began on the fellowship hall to transform it into the present sanctuary (pictured above). The old flat-top store building was also remodeled and became the present Youth Fellowship Center and Sunday School classrooms (pictured right). We thank the Lord for all He has done and all He is going to do. We also would like to thank all of the churches and associations that have prayed for us and helped financially through the Free Will Baptist Association.
